LOCK AWAY CRIMINALS, NOT GUNS
By Republican Rebel

I have heard that there are countries in the United Nations trying to talk our politicians into banning private gun ownership in the USA.
I can’t vouch for the truthfulness of the information but I don’t doubt it. I have no respect for the United Nations and if it were up to me I would get America completely out of the UN. The UN is an evil regime that has a one world order goal, and that is to be the world's ruler and police force. When Hitler took over Germany the first thing the Nazi's did was to take away gun ownership from private citizens. This proved to be helpful when the Nazis began to round up the Jews to send them off to death camps. People did not own guns and were not able to fight back. Same thing with Stalin when he took over Russia. He disarmed the Russian citizens and look at all who died under his brutal dictatorship! Why would it be so hard to believe that the UN is trying to pressure our politicians into disarming the American citizens? I mean they pressured Australia to ban the guns didn't they? Today, Australia's crime rate is sky high and there are a lot more shootings now then there were when good decent citizens were allowed to own firearms. This supports what pro-gun owners have always said, "When Gun's Are Outlawed Only Outlaws Will Have Guns!"
When the gun control nuts get on their soapbox they site the countries that don’t allow its citizens to own guns and how the crime rate in those countries are lower than ours. Funny how they never mention Australia's crime rate!
It's also funny how they always leave out Switzerland, where
ex-military people are required to keep a gun. Switzerland’s crime rate is
extremely low, despite the massive amount of guns there.
The Swiss will not put up with crime and that is the real reason their crime rate is so low. I think we should look to them as an example.
People in America have a bad habit of refusing to take the blame for their own mistakes. They always want to place the blame on other folks. There are even people in America that have sued tobacco companies for getting lung cancer, saying it was all their fault that they smoked and got cancer. I even know of ridiculous cases where people have sued bartenders in bars because they were served a few drinks and then got in a wreck when they left the bar driving their car. They try to say it is all the bartender's fault for serving them alcoholic beverages.
Now I know cigarettes are bad for you and that they have been proven to have caused lung cancer in many an individual and I am not taking sides with tobacco manufacturers , but let’s face it, who is to blame? The people who make the cigarette or the person who smokes it? I am not taking sides with bars, bartenders, or those who manufacture liquor either, but again, who do you blame, the ones who serve it or make it, or the one who makes his or her own decision to drink it?
If you have a loved one that drinks a bottle of cyanide, iodine, or liquid
Drano, do you sue the manufacturer? I mean the manufacturer placed a warning
right on the package!
Well the warning that smoking is hazardous to your health and may cause lung
cancer is printed on every package of smokes, in plain view for all to see.
I realize that it is hard to stop smoking as well as tying one on getting drunk. I used to smoke 3 packs a day and get drunk at least once or twice a week. I struggled with both of those habits. It was not easy to stop that stuff.
If you outlaw all the tobacco companies, folks are going to find a way to buy cigarettes and smoke anyway. If you outlaw liquor people will still find a way to get it and to drink. That was proven in the prohibition days of the 1920's. It didn't stop people from drinking just because it was illegal. People still found a way to drink anyway and it paved the way for crime and corruption with the gangsters taking over, which led the government of the United States to repeal prohibition.
The same thing is true of guns.
Let’s get real here people! Is it the law abiding citizens that is
committing crimes with the guns or is it the punk gansta rappers, gang members
and other criminals in society?
Anyone with half a brain will answer the correct answer and say it is the
gangstas and other criminals that are committing gun related crimes. Funny thing
is that many of those committing the crimes are forbidden by law to own a
firearm because they have committed a felony, been in prison, and are out on
parole. So does passing anymore gun control laws going to mean anything to
them? They’re already lawbreakers by just having a gun, much less
using one.
Do you know where to buy an Uzi submachine gun or a Mac-10? You probably don’t. But I would be willing to bet that your local neighborhood gang leader, gang member, crack house operator, or drug dealer knows!
You can pass all the laws that you want to but you will not be able to detour a criminal from carrying out the crimes they want to commit. They will use ball bats, knives, or anything else they can get their hands on if they want to. Remember, the killer Islamic highjackers on that fateful day of 9/11 took over those planes with box cutter knives and not guns!
The bottom line is no amount of gun control laws will stop crime anywhere. If we really want to stop crime we must remove these criminals and gang members from our streets.
We have far too much plea bargaining going on, and far too many panty waist judges turning repeat offenders back out on the streets. The Judicial system of the United States is way too concerned with protecting the rights of violent criminals, all the while ignoring the rights of their innocent victims.
Chain up the criminals and lock them away, not the guns.
Whatever happened to good ole Georgia-Mississippi Chain gangs anyway?
So to those people like John Edwards, John Kerry, Teddy Kennedy and others like them that say they want to take away our guns, I say to them:
"If you take the guns away from the criminals first then I'll gladly give you mine, but until then:
Want my guns? TRY and take them!"
Luke 22:36
36 and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.
